About Us
Loop Labs is a not-for-profit organisation working on improving the quality of life for Londoners.
Since our pilot project launched in Lambeth in 2012, we have been pushing frontiers, working with new ideas, technologies and approaches. Our mission is to go deeper and engage across communities, strengthening knowledge, embedding positive shifts in behaviour, and creating a sense of agency amongst participants.
The current focus is on Environmental Education, Skills Development and Community Building, which is reflected in our current list of projects. We initially started by raising Air Quality awareness in schools across London, delivering effective Air Quality educational and engagement programmes, which is still at the heart of what we do. Through workshops, community activities and training, Loop Labs aims to empower London’s schoolchildren and communities with the knowledge to tackle the Climate Emergency and improve their localities.
We work together with schoolchildren and their parents to educate, inform and catalyse conversations about the natural world. We want all Londoners to utilise the green space they can access and be a part of improving their communities. We look to embed long term and durable behaviour change in participants, from encouraging more walking, using clean air routes, growing and greening as well as spending time outdoors, alongside friends, family and neighbours.
